Help Us

There are many ways to help the rescue.  By donating, time, money, services, items.  There are so many needs that all need to be addressed.    We try to be as self sufficient as possible but there are always areas of need.

Some ways of helping:

Time - donating a few hours a week/month to work with the parrots, fundraising, toy making etc.  Not all involve driving here.  Many things can be done from home.

Sponsoring – Do you have some service or sell items that would benefit parrots or the rescue?  We will post a link to your website or provide your contact information on our website.  We have many supporters who use our sponsors services knowing that the parrots are benefitting.

Cash Donations -  Are used to buy toys, pay vet bills,  buy nuts and items the birds need.  Donations do not need to be large…. every dollar counts.  You may also request where you would like to see the money used and be assured that it will be used for that prupose.  (We are not a Canadian Registered Charity so are unable to offer tax deductible reciepts).

Veterinary Care – Some people prefer to donate directly for vet work.  Donations can be made directly to Cavan Hills Vet Services.  www.cavanhillsvet.com for address and details.

Foster Care – Presently we have enough foster homes to handle our needs.  We are not accepting any more applications at this time.

Advertising -  We offer advertising opportunities on our website.  We are recieving over 20,000 hits a month on our site which will benefit your business.  If you have a product or service and are interested in more information about advertising get in touch with Nancy Daniels.  We will provide statistical data for the past several years.

Store – PASO is looking to partner with parrot toy makers and suppliers of items of interest to the avian community.  Please call for more information about these opportunties.
